Astley Park Sensory Garden
The new Sensory Garden at Astley Park is a Rejuvination of the The scented garden for the blind which was constructed in 1953 – 1954 to commemorate the Coronation of the Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"Astley Mole”
The mole has one very diminished sense and compensates for this by heightening the other senses in line with the aims of the sensory garden.
“Ivy Benches”
Carved by Tilly Dagnall
Carved from single Oak logs the benches are designed so that the hand falls on the design as you sit on them.
